Burglary happens, unfortunately, but there are very cheap deterrents out there that can make a burglar stop in his or her tracks, turn around and walk off elsewhere.

The first deterrent is a Fake TV. It’s a really clever device that recreates the light provided by a television. So on the outside it simply looks like an individual is watching TV, while the device includes fades, swells and motion.

The next deterrent is fake CCTV. The first thing burglars are going to look for on your property is a security camera. They’re not going to know it’s fake and they’re not going to want to take the risk, so they’ll move on.

The final item and the most affordable is a sign. You may want to opt for the ‘CCTV in operation’ sign, or perhaps a sign like ‘Danger! Guard dogs’. Either of those should do the trick.
